La Factoria

Vibe: A hidden gem, La Factoria is a cozy and intimate bar known for its creative cocktails and speakeasy vibe.

La Factoria is #18 on North America’s 50 Best Bars list, and for good reason. With its unassuming entrance, inventive cocktails, and intimate setting add to its charm—you’ll definitely want to return for another round.

La Vergüenza

Vibe: A lively bar with a fun atmosphere and tropical drinks, complete with stunning views from the second or third floors.

Open Daily

La Verguenza offers more than delicious mojitos and mofongo—it also has great views from the second or third floors, making it an ideal spot for people-watching and ocean views. Expect well-made cocktails paired perfectly with the vibrant setting, making it an excellent choice for a lively night out.

Pio Pio

Vibe: A cozy wine bar and restaurant with a fabulous tasting menu that emphasizes attention to detail in every dish.

Days Closed: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Pio Pio is a perfect place for a relaxed yet elevated evening of wine and dining. The wine selection is excellent (think small and natural producers), and their tasting menu is a standout, offering beautifully crafted dishes with distinct attention to detail.

El Vina Crudo

El Vina Crudo has a great selection of natural wines and small plates, making it an excellent spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a casual dinner.

Identidad Cocktail Bar

Days Closed: Sunday and Monday

Identidad Cocktail Bar is the place for those looking to try something new. Focusing on fresh, unique ingredients, the cocktails here are both creative and beautifully crafted.

Barrachina

Vibe: A historic bar and restaurant with a lively, tropical atmosphere.

Open Daily

Known as the birthplace of the piña colada, Barrachina is a must-visit for anyone craving the iconic drink. If you’re just there for a piña colada, head to the bar in the front atrium and skip the line for the restaurant.

JungleBird

Vibe: A relaxed tiki bar with a great rum selection located right across the street from Santaella.

Days Closed: Monday

JungleBird is a laid-back tiki bar that’s perfect for sipping rum-based cocktails and enjoying the fun, tropical vibe. It’s located across the street from the popular Santaella, so make sure to stop at both spots when out in Santurce.
